Treatment Options
A personal treatment plan, rather than a single approach for everyone.
Dr. Bedayat considers your symptoms, evaluation, and goals when discussing treatment. Procedures are recommended only when appropriate for your needs.
Epidural injections
An epidural injection delivers medication into the space around the spinal nerves. It may be considered for certain types of back or neck pain.
Dr. Bedayat’s services include image-guided transforaminal, interlaminar, and caudal epidural procedures. The approach depends on the evaluation.
Medial branch & facet joint blocks
These targeted injections focus on small nerves or joints in the spine. A block may help assess a source of pain or provide relief, depending on the procedure.
Radiofrequency ablation
Radiofrequency ablation uses heat to interrupt pain signals from selected nerves. It may be considered for certain patients after assessment, sometimes including diagnostic nerve blocks.
Ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks
A peripheral nerve block uses medication near a targeted nerve to temporarily reduce pain signaling. Ultrasound helps guide the needle toward the intended area.
Ultrasound-guided joint injections
Ultrasound guidance helps position an injection in the intended joint. Dr. Bedayat will explain whether an injection may be appropriate for your symptoms.
Other elements of care
Medication management and spinal cord stimulation may also be discussed when appropriate. Your care plan and follow-up are individualized.
